AAOHN Webinar: Vaccine Hesitancy in the Workplace

 

The COVID-19 vaccine has re-introduce a lack of confidence in vaccines and a distrust of public health interventions among eligible adults in the workforce. Occupational health nurses often coordinate employee vaccination programs at their facilities for a variety of vaccines, including the COVID-19 vaccine. In this webinar, hear from occupational health nursing experts from various industries to learn about vaccine hesitancy demographics in the workplace, identify best practices for a vaccine program and ways to counter vaccine hesitancy. The content experts will discuss barriers, new and old, to running a successful vaccine program. This session will discuss the management of COVID-19 vaccines as well as a variety of industry-specific vaccines in a medical surveillance program and the attendee will learn about return to work impacts on employers. This webinar will conclude with Q &A for discussion of future considerations with vaccines and the working population.
