SUMMARY:63rd Warren Cook Health and Safety Discussional
DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, Oct 15\, 2026 \nFollowing a long tradition at the University of Michigan\, the 63rd Warren Cook Health\nand Safety Discussional is a full-day discussion with\nprominent leaders in the fields of industrial hygiene\, occupational health nursing\,\nsafety engineering\, epidemiology\, and ergonomics. Discussion sessions are directed by\nUniversity of Michigan faculty and all participants of various career stages engage in a\nhigh level of rich exchange and discussion. The Discussional offers a unique\nopportunity to safely share sensitive and critical information about issues of\ncontemporary interest with peer professionals. Recent and current participants provide\nquestions and topics of interest which are the basis for the cutting-edge discussions. \nPierpont Commons\n2101 Bonisteel Blvd\nAnn Arbor\, MI 48109\n\n\nAttendees will have the opportunity to meet and mentor industrial hygiene graduate\nstudents from the University of Michigan. Student résumé books will be available for\nattendees interested in hiring interns or full-time industrial hygiene professionals. \nWho Should Attend:\nAttendees are typically professionals whose job responsibilities include addressing\,\nmanaging or developing policies to govern occupational health\, safety and\nenvironmental issues in their organizations. \nAccreditation:\nThis program expected to receive approval for approximately 0.55 CEUs for the 2026\ncourse. \nFees\n$275 Early bird registration until September 19\, 2026.\n$300 Regular registration after September 19\, 2026. \nRegistration fee includes course materials\, continental breakfast\, refreshment breaks and lunch.
