2022 Inaugural research Symposium

The Center for Ergonomics (C4E) Research Symposium:

Friday, September 30, 2022 on North Campus and Hybrid via Zoom option.

Who: The C4E labs within IOE and its affiliated labs will present Human Factors & Ergonomics related projects and topics.
– Come for presentations, posters, and demos! Breakfast, lunch, and happy hour will be provided– RSVP to make sure we have enough!

When: Friday, September 30, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST. A Happy Hour with a poster and demo session will follow.

Where: Hybrid held at Pierpont Commons (East, Center, and Corner Conference Rooms) and via Zoom;

Registration:

RSVP is strongly recommended (especially for catering). A sign-in table is available for walk-ins.
For in the online version, registration is required for a passcode. You do not have to stay all day– please join us throughout the event as you can!!

Event Speaker Details:

Opening remarks at 9:30am: Dr. Nadine Sarter
Dr. Sarter is the director for the Center for Ergonomics, the Richard W. Pew Collegiate Professor of Industrial and Operations Engineering, and a certified pilot.

Keynote at 12pm, lunch: Dr. Jim Bagian 
Dr. Bagian is the founding director of the National Center for Patient Safety at the VA Hospital system, co-director of the Center for Risk Analysis Informed Decision Engineering, and a former NASA astronaut.
